U.S. and Colombian troops

The world that late-stage capitalism is creating is one where the only stable states — or things that resemble states — will be the fortified high-tech enclaves that the super-rich create in the wake of a collapsed civilization. In the scenarios that some futurists have been anticipating, by the end of this century the only places with reliable electricity are going to be the walled off communities of these elites, guarded by those seeking to be rewarded with food and housing and sustained by a neo-feudal network of farming.

Amid the current campaign by BlackRock and other Wall Street firms…

If you’re in the United States, and your goal is to assist with the anti-colonial proletarian revolution on this continent, you automatically have a target on your back. The biggest target that any political group in this country can have, because the imperialists and the bourgeoisie fear communism and decolonial liberation more than anything else. We’re in the heart of the beast of global imperialism, up against a state that tracks every digital communication and statement we make and that could send in the world’s most powerful military to try to crush us. …

Libya after the 2011 NATO bombing campaign

As the U.S. empire slowly crumbles, it’s cutting its losses. This means waging ever-growing campaigns to destabilize the places that are slipping out of its control. Obama’s 2011 destruction of Libya, where the richest democracy in Africa was bombed into nonexistence and NATO left the country a slave trade-ridden failed state, was a major step towards this new era of engineered apocalypse. Another was Washington’s manufacturing of war in Syria in 2011, where the U.S. aided jihadists in a mission to overthrow Assad that’s since cost half a million lives and displaced over 13 million people.

As the U.S. military…

The Gaza border, where Israel enforces the lethal no-go zones that U.S. domestic security is modeling its own surveillance apparatus off of

Revolutionaries in the U.S. need to adopt the mentality that they’re being perpetually targeted by counterinsurgency, because they already are. Throughout this last year’s Black Lives Matter protests, the U.S. National Security State has unleashed vilifying propaganda about the demonstrations coming from “outside agitators,” promoted media glorifications of the police which portray law enforcement as sympathetic to racial justice, used America’s network of liberal NGOs to funnel support for the movement into the Democratic Party, and flooded militant protests with liberal “peace police” to temper radicalization.

All of this has no doubt been done with the orchestration of U.S. intelligence…

This is a republishing of the second half of my latest article, which is so long that many haven’t read beyond its first parts

As the African population of the Twin Cities has made itself impossible to ignore throughout this last year or so, the reactionary paranoia of the local settlers has fused with the iron heel of capital and the imperial boomerang to bring twisted new forms of colonial terrorism to the area. …

Photos of the mercenaries who showed up in Minneapolis this summer

In the core of imperialism the United States, there’s a layer of separation that conceals the horrific realities of continuously expanding global poverty, growing resource scarcity amid environmental collapse, and profit-motivated wars. The luxuries of the settler bourgeoisie and labor aristocracy prevent them from having to face the structural violence which lies just beyond the little enclaves that they inhabit. But what about when this illusion of paradise gets shattered? …

Today, the governor had made a shelter-in-place order, where everyone with a home was supposed to not go out unless they had jobs maintaining “critical infrastructure.” Such a measure would have felt unimaginably drastic just a week ago, when the pandemic still seemed to Americans like a regular disease scare. Yet at the same time there was something amiss about this, a deep inadequacy in the government’s response that became apparent to Desmore when he studied the way China had dealt with the virus.

China’s quarantine within Wuhan had actually accomplished the kind of lockdown that some U.S. politicians were…

Mao, whose legacy of victorious class struggle continues to challenge U.S. imperialism as socialist China disrupts Washington’s military hegemony and neo-colonialism, concluded that even the most powerful weapons of the imperialists are beatable in the face of liberation movements. Even the atom bomb, he said, is a paper tiger, something that only gives off the illusion of invincibility. “Imperialism will not last long because it always does evil things,” he said. “It persists in grooming and supporting reactionaries in all countries who are against the people, it has forcibly seized many colonies and semi-colonies and many military bases, and it…

What does it mean to free this continent from Americanism? It doesn’t just mean abolishing the United States government, as all who’ve seriously studied revolutionary socialist theory intuitively recognize to be necessary for establishing socialism here. It means returning full jurisdiction over all of the stolen Native lands to the 562 indigenous First Nations which exist within U.S. borders, allowing these nations to develop towards socialism as they choose. This part of decolonial theory is not something that’s intuitively recognized as necessary by all socialists, especially not white socialists who live within the U.S.

To see why this vision for…

The excesses, hypocrisies, and injustices of U.S. colonialism are coming to a breaking point, whether colonialism’s defenders want to face this reality or not. Fires of unprecedented magnitude are hitting the Pacific Northwest, regardless of the denialistic climate attitudes that continue to prevail among the area’s reactionaries. U.S. Covid-19 deaths are rising again, especially among the rightists who ignore the seriousness of the health crisis due to MAGA conspiracy theories. The country’s unemployment rate is continuing to regularly hit spikes, despite the last half-century of claims from free-market fanatics about how deregulation, privatization, and austerity will lead to prosperity.

Amid…
